Winter Star League Meet 2020 was a huge success

The 2020 Winter Star League Meet was held at FIF December 6th. The Rockstars an Pre-team put on a fabulous showcase and showed the spectators everything they have been working so hard on these last few months.

We had a few new additions to the meet including a performance by the Elite team's Simone Browne, Daisy L'esperance and Addy Fulcher. The three high level gymnasts are coached by Elke Williams. They put on an amazing show for the audience, performing some of their high level skills that they will be competing throughout the 2021 season on bars, beam and floor.

The First In Flight Show Team made their debut performance before the awards were presented, and they did an excellent job! Everyone was surprised by the 10 minute plus dance, put on by the FIF Show Team. Coach Nicki and Coach Don were very pleased with the performance.

The Star League competition had some awesome athletes, most competing for the first time. The First In Flight Star League is an FIF Team that introduces athletes to the sport of gymnastics in a low key atmosphere, getting them used to the competition side of gymnastics. Fun was had by all! Congratulations to all athletes!
