Gymnasts excited to be back for first meet of 2021: Atlanta Crown

First In Flight gymnasts and parents alike were ecstatic to be back in action at The Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, Georgia for the 2021 Atlanta Crown.

After the season was cut short last March due to COVID-19, it was business as usual this past weekend.

Congratulations to FIF's All Around Champions Lucca Weidert (Level 6); Trinity Roddey (Level 7); Amonie Jones (Level 7); and Camden Brothers (Level 8). These athletes put up outstanding performances and ended up on top of the podium!

There were numerous other podium finishes and we are proud of every single gymnast who has worked so hard to get ready for this competition.

Of particular notice was Level 10 gymnast Cally Swaney, who ended up 3rd AA in the Nastia Cup Qualifier session. Cally was competing for a spot in the coveted Nastia Cup against some of the best level 10 gymnasts in the country.

First In Flight had some great team wins as well. Congratulations to the Level 7 Team who came in 1st place, and to the Level 3 and 8 Teams who both earned 2nd place in their levels this past weekend.
